The Longest Day is a fundraiser organized by the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness and funds for research, care, and support of those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The event takes place on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and encourages participants to engage in activities that they love while fundraising and spreading awareness about the cause. Individuals and teams can create their own activities, such as hiking, playing games, or creating art, and seek donations from friends and family. The event not only raises funds for a worthy cause, but also encourages people to stay active, connect with others, and honor those affected by dementia.

This year we are going all out! We are planning a fun day of activities to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research. We will be hosting carnival games, a car show, offering food, and inviting local vendors to show off their wares. All net proceeds of the event will go to the Alzheimer’s Association to support Alzheimer’s and dementia research.
