Public benefit companies are a growing movement of business organization. It is a type of company that believes that profit shouldn’t be the exclusive focus of a business. It means more money being reinvested into the community to improve the lives of our residents! Often referred to as the “triple bottom line“, for-benefit companies believe equal focus should be placed on profit, people, and the planet. Unlike for-profit corporations, we have hardcoded our ethical principles into our legal structure, but unlike non-profits we are also able to pursue growth and create a self-sustaining operation. In pursuit of these goals, Front Porch of Bowdon became Georgia’s first public benefit senior living community in Georgia!
